Red Squirrel Walk

Remember to bring your camera and binoculars!

Enjoy a 3km walk to the Feeding/Observation site in Ballycastle Forest where you will have the opportunity to spot some Red Squirrels.

This walk starts with a long flat stretch but does include some inclines. On Forest tracks.

What to Bring

Bring Waterproof clothing, strong shoes or Boots. Cameras and Binoculars will be useful

Suitability

All Children under 16 must be accompanied by an Adult.

Minimum Age & Activity Length

Small children may not be interested in a 3K walk.

What's Included

A Guided walk with commentary on local Fauna and Flora.

Meeting Point

Meet at the bottom of Fairhill Street which is off the Diamond in the centre of Ballycastle. The Antrim Arms is on the corner.

Directions to Location

Follow main road signs to the town of Ballycastle and go the centre of the Town the Diamond.
